The Flexible Release Plan allows you to release less than 100% of the property value with the guarantee of being able to release further cash sums as you need based on the property value at that time.

This appeals to those not requiring the maximum cash available, who want to retain an interest in the property and a share of any future house price movement.

Applicants should be aged 65 or over (both aged at least 65 if a couple) and own a house or bungalow which is freehold, long leasehold or ownership of land in Scotland (formerly feudal tenure).

You must also be happy to release at least 25% of your property or £25,000 whichever is the lower.
